Avelian is a world shifted by cataclysmic change.

Orcs, once tribal and Barbaric, now rule the Skies as a neutral faction, freeing slaves and smuggling goods between nations. They now protect the forests from the Tyranical Elven Empire.

Elves, once peaceful and nurturing, now seek to destroy the forests, to strip them bare. They mercilessly force slaves to work to the death, and deal in forgotten dark magics unseen for eons.

Dwarves, once hard working miners, now laze in luxury under the sun while machines work for them. Their nation is a safehaven for all who seek a home.

The Fey, once playful and kind, have been forced from the edges of the forest now running wild. Now they call the abandoned subterranean Dwarven cities home.

Humans, once plentiful and peaceful, are now rare and deeply wounded people. Some are twisted by Elven Slavery, others by dark magics and generations spent in the deepest parts of the Dwarven tunnels.

Species of the Desert, Centaurs, Minotaurs, Halflings and more, have lost all freedom they once held. Now they slave endlessly in the Elven Empire, hoping for the chance of boarding an Orc Airship and fleeing.
